End of the line (Huntington)

You’ll think that the name of this site is explained by the ride to it.  However, the abandoned and submerged railroad tracks from the days of Cuyuna iron mining are its namesake.  Mining remnants, access to a nice wall, and access to a nice little bay hallmark this site for the hardy diver.  It is that “hardy diver” aspect you will need to consider when choosing to visit this site.  Once in the water, there is a sandy slope to pretty much any depth you would like.  However, getting into the water requires that you traverse an extremely steep and sometimes slippery walk-down to the water’s edge.

Entrance Very difficult with a steep walk-down to the water.
