Alstead South  (Alstead)

Great site for a large group with six possible underwater routes to head, 20 divers can easily use this site and not stir up the visibility.   With so much to see you will want to visit Alstead South several times.

Wonderful fish life and lots of underwater trees make this site popular with the local divers.   The beaver pilings here are a great place to fish watch.  It is common to see large numbers of sunnies and several nice size bass along with a couple of northerns in and around these cuttings.  Be careful of a second submerged road at 30 feet that can sometimes make navigation tricky if you plan to dive out to the island.
